Super Insulated Vacuum Pipe is designed to minimize cryogenic fluid heat loss. It is composed to outer pipe for make a vacuum, and inner pipe to which the fulid is transferred. MLI (Multi Layer Insulation) is applied to the inner pipe to minimize radiztive heat penetration. SIVP is applied electrolytically polished both inner pipe and outer pipe. It improves the surface roughness to prevent the decrease of the vacuum degree caused by outgas and to decrease emissivity of inner pipe. In addition, the inner and outer pipe are thermally insulated by specially designed spacers, and the inner pipe is equipped with a specially manufactured bellows to prevent heat shrinkage of the metal occurring at cryogenic temperatures.
